International Yoga Day

GIS celebrated International Yoga Day to bring about awareness among children and about the benefits of Yoga, so that they are able to bring about a change in their lifestyle, thinking and habits.

A special Yoga Session was conducted with students performing "Tadasana", "Ustrasana", "Bhujangasana", "Dhanurasana" and so on. The session ended with shanti mantra and one could experience the silence and peace in the atmosphere.

Our Vice Principal Mrs.Renu Sankaran’s speech encouraged the children to practice yoga on a daily basis which will help create overall harmony of body and mind.
