GMUN-2025

The 7th edition of Gopalan Model United Nations (GMUN-2025) took place on August 1st and 2nd, 2025 in the school premises. This edition saw 216 delegates participate, which included individual and school registrations from across twelve participating schools. There were totally 6 committees including one junior committee, where delegates honed their deliberation and diplomacy skills. The ceremony began with the symbolic lamp lighting, followed by the soulful school prayer song. The school choir's performance of "A Hole in the World" by the Eagles added a poignant touch, exploring themes of loss, fear, search for love, hope, conflict, and innocence. The song's powerful lyrics resonated with the audience; its imagery sparked reflection on the world's challenges. The opening ceremony set a thought-provoking tone for the GMUN-2025 conference.

After two days of deliberations, The Deens Academy emerged as the overall champion of the competition and bagged the Best School Delegation award winning a cash prize of Rs10000/-

GMUN-2025 provided a platform for students to engage in meaningful discussions, develop leadership skills, and foster global understanding.
