Celebration of harvest festival was the theme for today's Special assembly presented by the vibrant group of 3E class. Class teacher, Ms.Ritu seemed to have had the best time preparing her students for such a brilliant performance that gave a kickstart for the day.
The assemby strated with our young voices singing our solemn prayer invoking our almighty. The theme began with a lovely narration of the importance of harvest festivals and the different ways that people of different states celebrate it. Two different dance groups representing two different states performed the most cheering dances celebrating Sankranthi. The energy and the coordination of the dancers to perform with uniformity that made the audience sway to their steps was a treat to all our eyes. The Bihu dance was yet another master peice performance by our little energetic happy feet. Excellent presentation by the group that made us wish for more.
Our dear principal madam's address for the assembly was filled with applauses and she expressed her happiness to see such great talent in all of them. She heartily congratulated the class teacher for her efforts and for bringing such cheer amongst all.
A gentle birthday song for our celebrating children was sung by our students with principal ma'am wishing and blessing them on their special day of the year.
A long line of medal winners of the English Olympiads and the winners of 'Best Library User' title, received their prizes from our dear principal ma'am, who individually congratulated and garlanded the medals to each winner.
It was a great beginning of a grand day of celebrations in the name of festivals and achievements. The event gave all of us many moments of pride that we belong to this knitted family of GNS.
